With Eddie Gran as the ST coach, will we see the "Globe Kickoff"?

I am in my 4th year at UT, and have been to almost every game (home and away). Still haven't seen a kick returned for a touchdown (kickoff or punt).

How many punts and/or kickoffs by UT have you seen returned for 6?

So I'm not the only one screaming at the TV everytime i see Chism shoot a 3.

I save those screams for when JP shoots a 3.

The only good special teams play I can remember from the last few years was that Wardlow punt block in Georgia's end zone.

Bret Smith ran an onside kick back for a TD against SC in 2004 I believe.

I was in Williams-Brice for that one. It sucked the life out of the folks wearing garnet and black. Of course, by the time that return occurred there was more orange than cocky fans in the stadium anyway.

I just wish we could find a kicker who could consistently put the ball in the end zone. It seems like so many of our opponents get to start out on the 35 or better. Hate giving them a shorter field to work with, espcecially the good offensive teams.

If I'm a coach, I save a scholarship for a kid to do nothing but cause touchbacks.

I think Colquitt lost us the UCLA and AU game with his drinking.

It shows how important special teams are and how important a kicker is.

I couldn't help but notice the UT/Bama score scrolling across the bottom 17-41.
Wasn't this two years ago when Bama went 6-6? Reminds me of how bad our program had declined.
