Sorry if posted, but anyone else see Butch wiping away tears after the game? Tell me again how he's not the right guy for Tennessee! I firmly believe he is more than just about the win, I believe he loves Tennessee.

He'll be the new "Dick Vermeil" of college coaches.

Love it when people who have zero effort to contribute to a cause criticize those who do. Well done y'all. Makes you look real good and manly, and what not.

the only thing that matters is winning games

That may be true, but this team needs a lot of progression, learn to excel nd motivation. That will get a team towards winning. Georgia is just the first step. Until the Vols can be more competitive with the better teams then we'll progress. It may take awhile, but I'm behind coach Jones all the way and I believe he is our coach of the future and will get the Vol back to winning more often.

I would rather see a tear than him throw his hands up like dools did.

Hey I was paying him a complement! Dick Vermeil was a hell of a football coach! He also cried a lot! :)

Seeing this made me feel great about him. He genuinely loves where he is coaching and it is easy to see he is glad to be a tennessee vol. he's not blowing smoke about tn being his dream job. Is he going to bring us back to the old days? Who knows, but I do know we have a man leading our team that wants to be here and loves what he is doing. He shared the heart break with the team.

I think anyone that loves UT wanted/did cry after Saturday's loss. That loss, the LSU loss in 2011, and the NC loss in 2011 were three of the most heartbreaking losses in the last 10 years at UT.

Yeah I saw that during post game clips.

I thought it was pretty telling. That's what happens when one leaves everything, including their guts, on the field.

Hell, I got choked up when Neal walked into the end zone.

Better days ahead. If you were watching closely you saw it.

There is nothing out there left but better days ahead because it couldn't have gotten much worse. No need to watch any more closely than I always have to see that we have a long, long way to go, but I did see plenty enough pride, guts and determination from our boys last night for me to believe we'll get there.

Tough loss last night, but our boys fought tooth and nail to the bitter end and that shows me the players are going to keep working hard and that's a good thing.

Agreed. I do have to say, seeing a second half team took me back a few years.

Well said vollygirl. Amazes me how someone can stop a thread of support and a few try to rip them.

The heartbreaker at Baton Rouge was 2010. Was a sign of worse days to come. I think the GA was a sign of better days to come.
