That is how we will finish the season. This is the worst the sec has been in thirty years.

We will win the rest of our games this year, if Bray continues to play like he played today. I am, for the first time in a long time, optomistic about the future of the orange and white. For the first time in a long time, our offense showed real chemistry with Bray in the game IMO. If he continues to practice with the first string, we will put some points on the board quickly. He made crucial 3rd down plays that lead to scores through the air. He made plays over the top of the LBs which will create running room next week. We are finally showing signs of being a 2 dimensional team, which the next coaching staff can't ignore. they will be forced to prepare to stop both. Poole and Neal will have big games from here on out. I predict we finsih 6-6 with a bowl bid this year. IMO

I guess you're predicting Simms to start the next 4 games too.

No way after the coaches watch the game film does Simms start. If Bray continues to play like he did today, Simms won't even see another snap unless we're up big!IMO

A question and not a judgement. If we go winless in sec, do the dooley supporters lose faith?

Our defense will even play better now that they know the effort won't be waisted on three and outs by our offense. This team showed signs of having a little confidence today.

i feel like the usual trends tend to suggest that maybe half of them would...but i'm not in any position to be an authority on the subject

or they'll get disheartened and start more just going through the motions, wanting this bad season to be over.

both those extremes (lack of a better word right now) are about just as likely right now

Uh, we can score touchdowns. Automatically that means we'll beat Vandy.

No, but it makes it more likely. Confidence is contagious. Our D will step up next week. IMO or just call it a gut feeling. I had a gut feeling about Bray, and I have a gut feeling about this team. I saw something today start to work for this team and it happened late in the game after 14 points had just been laid on them outta the gate of the 2nd half. Bray brought this team to the door step. The players will rally around his play this week. It's been so long since they've had anything encouraging happen to them that this huge IMO. They just need something or someone to believe in and let's hope this was a starting point. IMO I think it is.

True. I think these guys came to UT to win champoinships. If this team now sees a shot at a bowl game, even after the season they've had, I think they will rally around that. Add to that, the fact that they almost beat LSU, played with Bama, Fl, and Oregon through the first half. It is not hard for me to see these guys believing that if they can do that, they can beat the last 4 teams on their schedule. Throw in the shot in the arm of Bray's play today, and this team has to feel good about its chances to get to a bowl game.

Dooley is our coach. If someone is not "a Dooley supporter", just what coach could they be supporting? I'm also curious about why some fans seem hell bent on aligning themselves into camps. We've got a Simms camp, a Bray camp, a Dooley camp, a Fulmer camp, etc. Guess I'm old school, but I'm in the UT camp. I'll pull for the man under contract to coach this team, his staff, and the players they put on the field. Pretty silly huh?
