I upgraded a couple nights ago and I thought I formatted. After looking ariund Vista for awhile I noticed a folder named "Windows.old". Is it safe to delete this folder? I have backup everything I need.
I upgraded a couple nights ago and I thought I formatted. After looking ariund Vista for awhile I noticed a folder named "Windows.old". Is it safe to delete this folder? I have backup everything I need.
It backed up your old installation before it formatted so you could go get files if you needed them afterwards. As far as I know its safe to delete, but you got to love that is a default setting on a upgrade. Not 100% sure that's the complete truth, but its still cool.
