Obviously many people want to get new staff, myself included, but what IF Tenn could end up winning more games. Preseason ESPN had us losing 4 games, Cal, Florida, UGA, and one other. Now lets say we just lose 4 games and have some decent wins, would you rather have that season or would you rather us continue this pretty poor streak of losing so that we could clean house? I'm just curious where the rest of you stand on this because IF we were to actually only lose 4 games this year, we all know Fulmer and crew are not going anywhere. So would you rather have the winning average season or have us losing to get rid of some coaching staff?

I never want to lose games. I'm not so concerned with one game or even one season. I'm looking at the trend over the last five years and where this trend will take us for the next 5 or 10.

So....

I hate to say it, but we need to lose more than 4 to get rid of Fulmer and Co.

I think it's a pathetic reflection on our athletic director if Fulmer can consistently lose 4 games a year and not get canned. If that's the case we need a new AD with aspirations of winning championships and the ability to make business decisions without letting feelings get in the way.

I'd bet that CPF's job status is 100% a business decision.

I agree, which is why I started this. I don't care to lose, but I think average seasons or anything higher keeps the coaching staff around.
