I honestly don't think Couch should be reinstated...but it would be nice to hear an explanation as to why Clinton-Dix only served a two game suspension. Was it the amount of money in question or is it just better to accept money from a coach as opposed to an agent? The NCAA gets accused of selective enforcement because they often don't bother to explain their logic when inconsistencies arise.

I personally think if your going to suspend one player for breaking the rules it should be the same for everybody. But we are talking about the ncaa they have got some screwed up ways the way they take care of stuff

The most egregious example to date is letting Tyrelle Pryor and 4 others play in the Sugar Bowl after admitting they took improper gifts/tattoos and letting them serve their 5 game suspension the next year. I still can't believe they let that happen.

This is another reason it will take a miracle for us to beat Alabuba, Slive needs to keep Bama alive for BCS payday, we will get no breaks from the refs. That is the most polite way of saying it.

Every school has "those" guys. The NCAA cherry picks the ones they want to hammer. The high profile programs always get a pass.

This

I honestly don't care if the NCAA decides to be strict or lenient in the application of the rules. I just wish whichever way they pick to go they would be consistent with it.

You don't want to truly believe Slive is pulling these strings and the puppets in black & white are swinging to his symphony....but that was my 1st thought with North's one armed super catch to set up the winning FG....not one flag thrown and the DB left DNA for the Knox County Sheriff's Department all over him for that mugging. Gotta keep South Carolina in the mix for it all....but the officials couldn't derail destiny Saturday :eek:k:

Isnt Saban friends with the a head ncaa person? Might be why. Plus Sabans so short he doesn't have to get on his knees to get his guys back in.

Nope. I guess we'll have to do some breaking of our own. Just kidding.

No. Actually I'm not.

I wondered why there was no penalty on that play at the very least. He was getting mugged. He could not even raise his other arm! Oh well, it all worked out. Can you imagine if it didn't?

I don't think so. They hammered USC and Penn State pretty hard. Less so OSU, but they also got nailed.

Those are about as high profile as it gets.

They just don't have any proof on bammer yet.

Saban is a huge d-bag, but somehow bammer finishes in the recruiting ratings no. 1 year after year after year. No wonder they win...they out talent everyone else.

It's a matter of time. They will slip up, the hammer will fall, and Nick will run to the NFL like Pete Carroll did.

In the meantime...let's kick that butt on Saturday anyway. :)

This. The NCAA needs to start showing some damn consistency. Manziel accepts money and gets a one half suspension. It's all a bunch of BS. Either make the suspensions consistent or change the rules. It's ridiculous.
