I love championship week. I think I have been watching basketball (on and off) for about 12 straight hours today. UNLV and Utah right now going down to the wire.

I'll watch - provided that they aren't playing at 10:30 a.m. on a Tuesday or some funky time like that... I can't imagine an NIT play-in game being prime time for some reason...
Anyone know what time the game is and whether it's televised or not?

I've never understood declining a Bowl or Tournament bid. What could be the possible rationale?

Gatorhater the game is 7pm on Wednesday. I would think it would be televised but I haven't seen anything yet.

GAVol from a fans perspective I can see why some my not want to play in the NIT. It's almost a no win situation. If we beat Mason then so what, but if we lose then it makes our season even worse. From a coaches/administrative position there is now way you would ever turn down a bid.

I vote decline the bid, since that isn't possible. I'll say yes, I will watch the Vols play, but I will NOT invest any more than 20 minutes in them if they play like they did against bama
