I'd take promoting an assistant to interim for a year at this point, even Sunseri. Dools does nto deserve another year and it will be the death of this program if he gets to come back.

Only way Sal goes without Dooley going as well is if Sal's buyout comes off Dooley's buyout.

I actually think Sal will be back as a position coach next year under the new head coach.

Let the season play out,while exploring interest in program.....definately focusing on PROVEN head coaches at big level(no coordinators or small schools)if the team loses again,name an interim(chaney,thompson)and narrow a list to 3 and throw the bank at them...a good coach will bite! hell,even challenge their competitive spirit in order to get them! sure,talk to gruden,but dont spend too much time...there are great coaches who can get more out of this team....easy huh? LET'S GO BIG ORANGE!!!!!!!

Look at the quality of the wins we have though. We are not beating or even competing with the teams that matter. Plus we have been passed by Arkansas, South Carolina, Mississippi State and somewhat Georgia.

Competed? We are Tennessee. Moral victories are not allowed in a coaches third year. Maybe when we had 2 walk on offensive lineman and almost beat bama, or maybe in dooleys first year when we almost beat LSU with a below average team, but this team has players with NFL "potential" all over the place and we still suck? I understand a defense struggling to change to a 3-4, but the worst in history? This coaching staff (with the exception of Sam Pittman and jay graham who have done outstanding jobs imo) needs to be canned. Bad teams who are properly coached sneak up and beat good teams every once in a while. We haven't and we won't.

Agreed on the bold. The problem is we are not in the top. He has a better roster and stated himself no more excuses. I like CDD but for some reason he cannot get this team over the hump.

I will give you a number 3. Year 3 and one of 3 teams without an sec win.
