I loved Fulmer as a coach and grew up with him. Went to school at UT and graduated in 2005, but even know I am starting to question him.

No AP/ESPN/BCS top ten ranking since 2001
2-6 Record in bowl games since national title game.
0-3 Record against Meyer
5-8 Record against Spurrier
2-4 Record against Mark Richt

Only had winning record against Bama because they have been terrible lately.

No BCS Bowl Appearance since 1999.

Notable other losses: 2004 loss at home to a 6-6 Notre Dame team (how?). 2003 Bowl loss to crappy middle of pack ACC Clemson team. WE PLAY IN THE SEC WE SHOULD BE CRUSHING THEM. The Cal and UF losses this year.
The blowouts to Georgia.

I don't know what to do or what the problem is... we get high recruiting classes, it seems like everyone points the finger at our coaching. Fulmer seems to me to resemble very much Llyod Carr in coaching style, etc. Everyone wants Carr out for doing more at Michigan then Fulmer has done at Tennessee (Carr has actually taken Michigan to BCS Bowls and won Conference Championships this season).

No. That is all for now.

What is your opinion of what we should do then? I didn't say fire fulmer in my thread... I am just stating how we have as a football program falling off the map. It is sad when I have to look forward to basketball season now because football is in the gutter. Might as well mark Ls off for Florida and Georgia almost every year (oh, and the Bowl Game).

Really is it coaching? What is it? Recruiting? Discipline?

I see the problem being discipline, motivation, desire and no leaders.I think we all know that we can recruit. As far as the coaching goes, you gotta put some blame in there as well.

If you mean going from 5-6 season to a slightly better then average season. Yes, we'll get better. Don't expect any more then that.

Yes, we can be good under Fulmer again. That's if Meyer, Tuberville, Spurrier, Richt and Saban go to the NFL or find other jobs outside of the conference.
