Will we end up with someone worse than Dooley and Jones?

Will we end up with someone worse than Dooley and Jones now because they don’t know what they are doing and they’ve botched this from the beginning? Currie has had a month and a half now basically to prepare for this and he’s going to believe he had the better coach and give us something worse now.

We can still try to throw a boat load of money at some bigger names and fast but if it doesn’t work out will they take a shot with Tee or Kiffin or hire Coach Yahoo McGoogle that the fan base won’t even care about?

I’m sensing they are going to pass over Tee or Kiffin for a nobody

Of all the candidates left, the only ones I can confidently say are better than Butch would be Kiffin/Brohm.

If we can’t get anyone proven good then just stack the coaching staff with former vols and let Tee run it and give it a shot. May not work out but fans would be more lenient and get behind that more than the guy from NC State

Kiffin would be an interesting hire as well and no better shot than now. I’m just not sensing they would give him a shot if he was the last man standing

If rumors about Florida State becoming available takes place wouldn't they consider Kiffin?

I could definitely get behind a Tee Martin hire, though I am leery of how the fans would treat him if he did not succeed. Would be nice to see some other players join him. The emotional angle would be very interesting.

I was firmly against pursuing Kiffin; the day he left, I cursed his name and rooted against him every time his teams played. Now, however, I am softening on that prospect. Is that because Kiffin is a great coach? No. It is because Tennessee has sunk so low that we are no longer a proud program. We are an embarrassment and must beg for scraps. It pains me that, instead of Tennessee laughing at Kiffin, Kiffin is now laughing at Tennessee.

We are getting down to Tee, Les Miles or Kiffin as this only 3 we know would take if called. Everyone else is not a for sure yes with this circus.
