Our defensive lacks talent but so did the group in 2010 which consisted of Victor Thomas, Malik Jackson (he was good), Jaquez Smith, Chris Walker, and Gerald Williams, Montori Hughes, Willie Bohannan, Herman Lathers, Nick Reveiz, and Lamarcus Thomson.

Not many 4 and 5 starts in that group was there? Only one player in that group went on to do things in the NFL, but they mustered enough courage to hold #10 LSU to 10 points for 4 quarters in Baton Rouge. If Dooley's coaches could count, that group would've had one of the most legendary goal line stands in school history.

Can this team play football TODAY like that team played football on October 2, 2010? Can Nigel Warrior come up with a big interception like Janzen Jackson did? Can Jarrett Guarantano play mistake free football like Matt Simms did? Can we keep Benny Snell from going nuts like we limited Steven Ridley to 123 yards and 1 TD?

It's like having a dead battery. Trying to start the car week after week does no good. The battery needs to be replaced.

Our defense lacks development not talent..
And they have been hurt over a career , Shy without all those injuries is a first rounder ... he was a monster up until he got kneecapped by the uga OL his freshman year. Kyle Phillips w chronic shoulder problems etc

Should be worrying more about our offense rather than our defense.
I've already lost hope for that side of the ball, lol, hoping for a 13-10 or 16-14 type football game. Maybe our defense can force a big turnover and be close enough to the Kentucky's end zone to throw a deep TD pass. Or maybe we get a pick six.

Put 9 in the box go man coverage on the WRs, make Terry Wilson try to throw more TDs than INTs.

Maybe put a spy on Wilson.

Get off the field and don't let them wear our defense down.
