The time I don't want to play Spurrier is after a loss...now after 2 losses...and the loss to Florida being an embarrassing loss. He'll be one angry guy next Saturday.

It could happen. It probably WON'T happen, but as always... I will not concede defeat before the game is even started....

Without some major mistakes by SC, UT does not win. Doubt it will be close.

Doug Mathews has a show in 104.5. He said yesterday that spurrier wanted to coach at UT over UF. Timing wasn't right for us. Sigh...what could have been.

A loss to the Vols would probably cause hus head to explode on national TV!! THAT I'd like to see!

Nope. On the road against a team that took it's lumps yesterday will only equal them wanting to put the beat down on us even more. SC by 24.

well even if DD dont get fired this week an embarassing loss to SC will get the wheels moving..heck the AD is prob working right now to see what coach would want to come in and take over next season..if a guy is found by the end of next weekend DD will be GONE!! IF the offense dont fix itself QUICK we wont win but one game the rest of the year and that will be UK...bad as they are this yr their winning streak against us ends at one game...lol

I doubt he would have been signifigantly better than Fulmer. CSS doesn't like to recruit, so Florida was a good fit for him...

I think Dooley loses SC and either Missouri or Ky / Vandy. to finish 6 - 6. Haven't seen any improvement over the past 3 years.

IF we had shown ANY sort of fight against Alabama, I would be squarely in the camp of "maybe". Each week I've been in that camp. Each week I walk away dazed at either the lack of adjustments to what the opponent is doing...OR I walk away wondering how we can lose to Mississippi State. Folks, if we can't beat MSU, what makes you think we have a prayer against Steve Spurrier and USCe?

I think the team packed it in last night...showed late in the game with missed tackles and blocking assignments...gonna get our a$$ handed to us AGAIN!! how much more can this program take?????

That man has had enough time to be able to show improvement, he has failed to do so and time has ran out.

This^^^. I believed that we would have at least kept it close against bama and showed some fight and slight improvement. However the lack of in game coaching is absolutely horrible. We panic on offence and dont seem to be able to sustain drives. It looks like we dont even have a game plan at all. We dont try to exploit any weaknesses and we do not play with any authority. We look like a bunch of kids drawing up plays in the dirt.

I would not bet on it! Maybe the poll results will motivate the Vols, looks a little lopsided right now. Enjoy your morning coffee

If the defense doesn't give up to many of BIG play's and if the whole team play's TENNESSEE FOOTBALL , I WOULD VOTE YES!!! But with COACH DOUBLES D record against ranked teams , im gonna vote NO
