BBCW: Is Sarah Palin Vs. Barack Obama the Ronald Reagan vs. Jimmy Carter of This Generation?

It's no secret that Michael Reagan believes Sarah Palin may be that person, but on the Chris Matthews Show, both Andrew Sullivan and Joe Klein sees that possibility too.

(VIDEO AT LINK)

On Sunday’s “The Chris Matthews Show,” both The Daily Beast’s Andrew Sullivan and TIME editor Joe Klein agreed that if Palin runs she could have the edge on Obama.

Did you see many people in the Carter administration think that Ronald Reagan could beat Jimmy Carter?

If you don't like the current president then the last thing to be advocating for is a Palin run in 2012. Just a piece of friendly advice.

Oh, and comparing Reagan to that woman does a huge disservice to the former president.

you never know, if Palin were to surround herself with a pretty solid cadre of cabinet officials and score someone like Marco Rubio for VP, whatever damage she could do to the office would be mitigated somewhat.

a Palin presidency would have to work impossibly hard to be worse than the current pile of dog squeeze currently traipsing about the capital.

Good Lord No.

What candidate do you support?

Please no.

What candidate do you support.

We already know you will vote for Obama.
And being a hard core Democrat you will probably vote more than once.

"You betcha".

:good!:

MotivationTruth: Governor Palin Reminds America who Pals Around with Terrorists

Governor Palin did not hold back as she talked with Sean Hannity tonight. She was quite clear that she isn't going to sit silently by while people on the left--including our Vice President--call tea party Americans names like terrorists. She went on to remind everyone that it was President Obama who launched his political career in the home of Bill Ayers, a domestic terrorist. She boldly stated:

If we were really domestic terrorists, shoot, President Obama would be wanting to pal around with us, wouldn’t he? I mean, he didn’t have a problem with palling around with Bill Ayers back in the day when he kicked off his political career in Bill Ayers' apartment.

Tough words, yes, but perhaps Vice President Biden and other hard-core leftists might want to remember them before besmirching Americans who simply want to see some fiscal sanity in this nation.

The Governor also didn't hold back about Mitt Romney, who once again, decided to take a stand--after the fact. This time, it was against the debt ceiling compromise. In the past, he's been fond of endorsing candidates after they won. It's time, Governor Palin said, to stand for something from the onset. She also commended Congresswoman Michele Bachmann for doing just that, as she stood up for what she believed in and refused to vote to raise the debt ceiling.

If she is, I'm seriously considering moving to Canada.

:cray:

Promise to send me a postcard.

Saskatoon has some nice looking women let me tell you.

I think I'd vote for George Clooney before I voted for Palin lol. Her getting elected would cause us to be the laughingstock of the world.

How dare you slander Reagan.

Nothing like the slander of Reagan by the dhimmis who compared Barack Hussein Obama to Reagan.

BTW, if you read the opening post, Ronal reagan's son supports Palin whose core values are identical to Reagan, except that she isn't a converted Democrat as Reagan was.

Well then friend, who do you support as a likely candidate.

As is mentioned in the opening post, no one thought Reagan had a chance against Carter but he won in a landside.

Seventry five percent of the candidates supported by Palin won in the last election and more would have if the republican establishment would have supported them, in some cases the republican party outrightly attacked the republican nominee.

Oh, and comparing Reagan to that woman does a huge disservice to the former president.

On what absurd thinking do you base such a statement?

As a matter of fact Palin has a better record as governor than Reagan did.

I'm conservative and I may go with you!

Ciao!

If she took her top off I'd probably vote for her.

That is about the higest level of intellectual honesty I've ever seen you display.

Touche lol. The only positive I can see from her being elected is we would all be provided with Tina Faye jokes for 4 years haha. I can't believe gsvol is somewhat serious about this happening.

If Palin or Bachmann is the nominee I'd probably have to pull for Obama (not vote for him) IF I was assured a strong R Senate AND R House. If the Senate was going to stay D, I'd probably go with one of the broads
