Keeping his name off VolNation would make for a perfect play. You know what he's going to say preceeding to his conversation.

I'll have to admit that I don't know why there is so much hate for the guy. Is this something that happened after he left UT? I liked him when he was on campus.

I think he is probably the most overrated UT player in history. He was always getting tons of press but I cant ever remember him doing squat.

As soon as we get back to winning none of this will be an issue. The players are just standing up for their coach, but soothing relationships starts with winning football games.

I liked him as a player. I don't like when people constantly sip on the kool-aid though.

Man, did you not watch UT football while he was here. You're clueless on this one.

RIGHT ON!!!!! We all should remind them the order is actually reversed:

1. Fans
2. University
3. Fulmer
4. Themselves

Yep. It was probably the lack of fans in attendance at the last few games, epecially the Alabama game that got Fulmer ousted, or at least played a big part in it.

Yep I've followed UT football since day one. The only thing I remember about Overstreet is him being hurt all the time.

I remember him being hurt in the pros, don't remember him being hurt here. oh well, that was long ago, I might be mis remembering. :)

I would say he was heavily disliked for the stance that Phil could do no wrong and the fans have no right to complain attitude on his show.

He was a decent DE who benefited by playing next to 2 NFL Pro Bowl DTs.

But he is one of the biggest fulmer apologists out there, which has sullied his reputation with the fans over the past couple of years.
