With only 4 games left and the new redshirt rules that allow players to play in up to 4 games and not lose a year of eligibility I'm wondering if we will see some new faces on the field that might help us finish this season and get to a bowl game. Peterson, Crosby, Emerson, Lane, Abercrombie and Garland come to mind and possibly a few others. It would be great to have a few more linemen in the rotation to give our thin lines some plays off.

Pruitt said on Vol Calls that the new rule would not affect TN this year. He said if the freshmen were able to help, they would already be playing. He said the new rule is more likely to help teams with depth.

If he thinks JJ can play a few snaps and help,he can play the last 4 and maintain his shirt.

Not true, he played on a special team snap in the Alabama game. He can play in 3 of the next 4 and keep his redshirt.
