Zach's first problem is staying healthy. His second problem is consistently catching the ball. He's our most experienced wide receiver by far. That gives him a big advantage over the very inexperienced Matt Milton. Receivers usually take time. Hunter was faster than most. D. Rogers has come on very well this year, but wasn't seen a lot last year catching balls. That said, Rogers caught as many balls his true freshman year as D. Mo caught his sophomore year. Look at D. Mo's junior and senior seasons (40 and 47 catches, respectively vs. 14 as a freshman and 11 as a sophomore). Big difference.
Some guys take longer than others. I know we want them to be ready as soon as they step on campus especially with such a young team, but it's gonna take time. Guys like Hunter and Da'Rick are rare. Milton's still very new to receiver. I'm not ready to give up on him, but I'd sure like to see some progress.
