Les should have already been contacted. I truly don't understand it. Miles should be ahead of Tee,Doeren, Schiano, Pruitt,Steele and most others.

So we're picking a coach based on the tweet of a 3rd string QB?

At this point that's probably good enough

No possible way it could be because he was 114-34 with a Natty at LSU. Nope.. it's just because of the tweet.

- Les Miles (Head Recruiter, Associate Head Coach or Head Coach with Coach in waiting)
- Frost or Similar (young OC, but I don't know enough about Tee)
- Pelini (Defensive Coordinator)

After a couple of years... plan to move Les out, or even keep him as Head Recruiter for a bit.

Same thing I said two months ago.

Les really shouldn't be the head coach without plenty of help, I actually like him as Associate Head Coach, make Frost or similar the Head Coach... but any combination of this could work.

My post was a joke hoss

Obviously we couldn't land Miles anyway since we'd be competing against so many other offers.

sounds awfully familiar to what I said yesterday in the Gruden thread, I don't think he's quite as washed up as everyone thinks. Definitely a better choice than the last 4 clowns they've went after

Would love to see him in Orange. Downfall at LSU was inability to develop a QB. I think that can be fixed with the right assistants.

Les should not be considered a long-term solution. Stability sure, recruiter sure, some long-term fix... no. I would recommend him as an associate head coach or a head coach with someone in waiting... I would recommend him for a 5-10 year job.

The absolute most important thing right now is to bring stability, recruitment, and a winning attitude back to the football program. Can worry about axing Currie, et al after that.

I’ve said it since the Georgia Tech game. Les couldn’t beat Saban, but I bet he could beat Florida, Georgia, Vanderbilt South Carolina and Kentucky. I can’t wrap my brain around the AD of UT or the media. Not sure which one is sabotaging this program the most.
