We threw for 215 yards and ran for -1. They got 5 sacks. Great people, but I just don’t think Will Friend is the guy. I have never felt strong about him. Rushing sucks... not big enough holes. Passing sucks... no time to throw. Only time this is not the case is when we play inferior teams and even they compete against our line when they should not. What are we missing that he needs to compete with Georgia’s DL? He has plenty of talent AND experience right now. The only possibile explanation is our S&C coach, but our DL was on that field all night (thanks to our OL) and they kept it coming for the majority of 3 Qs.

I just rewatched the game and our O-line, while certainly hampered by our garbage QB, is just too talented to be this bad. Will Friend has had this line underachieving for far too long and it is time for Pruitt to cut his buddy loose and hire a real OL coach.

Friend has worn out his welcome based on his failure. Time to move him on.

I couldn’t even think of his name until you posted. That should tell you what you need to know. I could remember Walt Wells but not will friend. Look at who was coaching on UGA when Ut last won.

I agree 100%, but I just don't see Pruitt making that move. Hope I'm wrong because I think Friend has been the staff's weakest link since Pruitt arrived
