Will Crompton wear a green shirt?

I think that was Crompton's problem last year all together was he wasn't used to game speed because of that green jersey in practice, if I knew I wasn't gonna get rocked by someone blitzing off the edge I could stand in the pocket and make throws all day long....It will come down to Crompton and Stephens and IMO if Crompton gets some good coaching(Which I think he will) he could be VERY good...Last year his horrible play IMO was due to bad play calling and a bad scheme all around, he will be much better this year...JMO

Crompton has no place in competing for the starting job period!. It is between BJ & Nick, one of those 2 needs to secure the position and give us something to hang our hat on in 2010.

I would like to see Nick Stephens step up but I got the feeling that Lane feels more comfortable with BJ Coleman...

If I remember correctly, Carson Palmer was a huge disappointment until his senior year. I don't have the numbers in front of me, but his junior year stats were not impressive. I think he had a TD/Int ratio of 7/7.

I'm thinking he's going to be wearing a backpack and pencils on March 17th, it's a Friday, there's class. but the 18th? I really hope theres no green Jerseys. It will be the first O&W game I've been to and I wanna see what we really have, not what we think we have.

Also, I see Stephens winning the starter job. Cromptons performance against Auburn last year still haunts my memories. It's really bad when the announcers are making fun of your qb.

I don't see anyone givin a dang about this post but Travis will start. He has the skills, the height, the tude....he lacks a little mechanics, a little maturization, and confidence. I think he starts because he's the closest example of Kiffins view of his preferred style of QB. Let it be known...Offensive line will tell the tale of this season. IMO, they don't get nasty we go 6-5 but if we get nasty...focused...sweat tough....we go 9-3....maybe a little better.

I can't for sure say if Crompton will wear green because I am not aware if the Waynesville Sanitation System's employees wear green or not...

I'll make a call and let you guys know what I hear...
