UT landed what appears to be some serious studs in this class, no doubt. The usual big names like Warrior and King Kong stand out....

But, what are your thoughts on Fils-Aime? Something about him just gives me that feeling of him being a great.

Has that Travis Stephens vibe and I don't know why.....remember Travis Stephens was the only All America of the backfield he was part of....if I remember correctly

Guarantano looked pretty sharp in that under armor all American competition. Although I only saw the qb competition and didn't get to see the actual game.

I have incredibly high and possibly unreasonable expectations for Guarantano. Probably because he resembles Marriotta a little bit. He could be a real game changer.

I was editing my post while you were replying. He won the qb competition which was the only part I was able to see.

I also hope Warrior does well just for the name alone. The fact that he's Dale Carters son gives me even higher hopes.

From the hudl film CFA looks like a very talented all purpose back but there isn't a lot to suggest that he could be an every down back. Time will tell.

That's what many said about Stephens and Tony Thompson. Two of UTs all time greats....you're right..time will tell

I think this class will resemble Jones first class at UT, not real flashy right now but in a few years some key leaders will emerge, Fils-Aime being one.

This class is the roof to that brick house Butch has been building. They give us complete quality depth and there are more ballers in this class than meets the eye.

It's been many a year since I have seen our roster this stacked across the board. We can now rotate Limemen and not have any real drop off in talent.

We are going to be as talented and experienced as any and every team we play this year.

We need Carlin Fils-Aime to be a great one. We could lose both of our dual starting RBs after next year and Carlin is our only RB in the class. I think he's gonna be a great one.

Freak...there is a small typo on Carlin's last name on the home page list of signees.

I thought he had a rough day. No? Didn't the defensive lines dominate that game?

He had a rough game but he won the skills competition which was kinda like an Elite 11 feel or Combine type competition and everyone raves about his arm strength. Some say he throws too hard at times and needs to tame it.

He looks like a great runner. He has the speed, which is huge these days. Can he take the hits in the SEC? I don't know. Only time will tell.

He did very well in the QB competition. The game was a different story because the Oline was getting destroyed every play. He was pretty much just running for his life. He didn't really get a chance to showcase his skill. It reminded my of the UT Oline 2 years ago.

This class has big shoes to fill. Whether to come in and give the starters a rest, or even as a starter. Any redshirts we can afford, all the better. Looks like we are in great shape to keep moving foward.

Kongbo will make the biggest impact over these next three years(wishful thinking, I it's what's best for him).

CBJ said there was a highly rated recruit that current players advised to stop recruiting, I wonder who that was. CBJ also said that many current players said that Bird needed to be a Vol.

Go Vols!

I definitely think next year Carlin Fills-A Need. We need to recruit another RB after this season, hope Butch can recruit Hurd to stay and Kelly can become an reliable go to guy

I like in his videos how he is an aggressive and talented blocker out of the backfield too. Shows his toughness and football knowledge....
