Will Better Olines Bring Great Backs

Chandler looks great on film. I'm probably a little guilty of wearing my orange glasses there.

Kelly on the other hand has it all, excellent cutback runner with vision and balance. He has the ability to make guys miss and often fights through the ones that don't. Last year JK averaged .6/ypc more than a third round back running behind the same OL.

Really? How many of Kelly's carries were against the Missouri's, Kentucky's and Vanderbilts of the world? Kind of helps explain the great yards per carry, huh? Let's see how he does against the first two-thirds of the season's schedule. You know, the part where we play every team on our schedule with a pulse.

The point is that his 6.4 ypc on 98 carries, I believe to be very significant and there should be no reason to think he wouldn't give you 12-14 hundred yds in a season as a starter.

Judging what he has done with the opportunity he has been given, what does a guy have to do to prove himself?

Posting the 6.4 ypc against any of the better teams on our schedule would be a nice start. Kelly hasn't done that.

What a loser mentality. Butch Jones is the CEO of this organization. He runs the organization, and he is FULLY responsible for the results. He hired his staff. They are running his offense. Jones, his coaching philosophies, and the atrocious game day decisions are the failures in this organization.

I got some inside info that players were leaving due to coaches. I asked my source a similar question. Is it CBJ or the other coaches that CBJ has hired that has these players leaving? My source never. Named CBJ specifically, so with all the changes to the staff, that particular concern might be corrected.

How is asking for clarification of a post a "losers mentality"?

Speculation or fact, when it comes to the Vols matters to me.

I freely accept that CBJ is the "caretaker" of Vol football, I also know that even the beat of plans can go down the drain due to 1 or 2 members of a team acting one their own or in a selfish manner.

When dealing with high pressure situations a little goes a long way when is comes to undermining a leader's authority or their ideas and plans. Poison is easy to spread when things don't go best case scenario.

Even when things are good it doesn't take much to start a mutiny.

There have been reports that out coaches didn't get along or wasn't on the same page, these are the paid professionals, if they set an example of back stabbing and such, how do you expect the young ones to react to that. Poison a player's mind against a coach or another player does not help produce Championships.

Okay. I'll cut you some slack with this at least this portion of your post. There is no such thing as SEC East Champions.

Bad idea to cut anybody some slack. That's when they wrap the rope around your neck.

Example:

It is really cutting me slack to admit I was right? Even if I was right by technicality.

I think Mizzou and Ole Miss claim division championships, but only because they have never won an SEC Championship since the split. And that my Vol brother is why I don't want us to start.
