Will Berry have to tone it down this year?

they're just trying to protect the kids? maybe we should look at it that way...

sorry for being mature about this, carry on

Ah yes, I've seen this many times before. The token guy wanting to take high road refers to grown men as "kids." Common tactic. Douche.

NCAA must be run by some of these liberals we have in office. What's next? Tea at the 50 yard line during halftime? Maybe a nice civil game of chess or something. They screw with the rules every year and make it worse every year in my opinion.

you sound ridiculous.........

This is like the horse collar rule. Its Bulls**t. You can bring a man down by his hair sticking out of his helmit but you cant grap his shoulder pads. Last I heard this was a contact sport and you should be able to put a lick on anyone. My HS football coach used to say to people that couldnt hack it "Try cheerleading theres always an opening for guys on that team".

Even though I do believe some refs may make a bad call. Let's not forget that probably alot of refs would rather there not be so many gray area rules, but at the end of the day, they are just having to do their job and alot of times, it isn't the most popular job. I do agree, however, that if the call is a very obvious BS call, then yes, string 'em up.

EB will be fine, the refs will be terrified of ejecting him. They wouldn't make it out of Neyland alive.
In da Swamp, as leinient as they are on flagging Florida gansta domination and posturing ejecting Berry could already be on the list of White hat hunny-do's.

Worse part is there might be a little favoritism that is used to protect certain players. A bad hit to terrell pryor or dare i say a tim tebow might cost the opposing team dearly. Leave this one up to the refs and someone will get the shaft.

The day I lost faith in the fairness of the refs was in the 2007 UF-LSU game. A LSU player dove and hit Tebow as Tebow was going out of bounds. Personal Foul immediately. Tebow was NOT out of bounds, but he was running that way. Since when does intent factor into a football game? Tragic.
