Poll after poll after poll prove it to be true. Dems and even Obama ran right of center on most issues. Obama portrayed himself as an abortion moderate and even promised to cut taxes and revamp the income tax. He was able to capitalize on the relentless media campaign against the Iraq war and reconstruction effort... I guess you could call that "leftist".
Before you even start... Iraq was cast as a failure when it clearly was not from a historical perspective. In about 6 years, the US eliminated a belligerent regime protected by the world's 4th largest military and replaced it with a benign democracy with fewer total casualties than the 3 day Civil War battle at Fort Donelson... which most Americans know nothing about.
Do I believe we should interfere in the world like we do? No. Was Iraq based on lies or the failure the liberal propaganda machine successfully painted it? NO.
