I cannot understand why these young men, who have the talent to make a fortune and provide themselves and their families longterm security, choose to throw it all away for a thug lifestyle.

Vinson probably won't be charged. From what I understand he was just in a bad place at a bad time. He shouldn't have been there anyways, but I don't think he's the one who actually did anything.

Nice thread. What the hell are you talking about?

A young man was shot the other day at The Woodlands of Knoxville (an apartment complex). He died today. B. Vinson was brought in for questioning as a witness. Ramar Smith turned himself in to the police for different charges the next day (having to do with a robbery).

How did you gather that from the op?

I knew austin decently well. He was a a nice guy. My girlfriend and her friends new him better from doing homecoming with him. He was a ATO at UT. I never knew him well enough to know if he was dealing or not but that shouldn't allow this to become an easier subject to talk about. He was shot in cold blood and thats sick. I do not understand the Happy ending comment HMANVOLFAN but its not a happy ending what so ever. A man is dead and others have been seriously hurt. Just got a text from my girl saying that one of her good friends has been dating him for over 3 years. Please be respectful when you talk on here. It might be a football thread but real people were hurt today.

Why don't you read the whole thread before you start running your mouth. I knew somebody wouldn't get the happy ending to mean that the op explained what story he was referring to, not the story itself.

I don't think he was trying to be rude or funny. Sounded like he was saying how unfortunate it is.

Well, nevermind. :eek:lol:

Not running my mouth just saying just think before you type that. You might of meant something else (I read the entire thread) it looked differently. others might not see it your way either.

Come on . . . I can see why emotions might be high here, but it's very apparent he was NOT alluding to the shooting.

Real people get hurt every day but there is always someone that has a different opinion about things. Don't read to far into things brother. Dont go looking for a fight on message boards because nothing comes of it.

Not here to start a fight. was only giving a better opinion of him because drugs were brought up and stuff. i only asked what he meant by it. wasnt running my mouth. i never said he had meant it to be an ass, but his earlier post seemed confrontational and I just asked. to get back to the point of the thread

I hope who ever is guilty gets punished. Also dont over look who Austin was because of drugs. Just saying something on his behalf and I hope people respect that.

The whole thing was a tragedy and it's too bad it happened. I don't know any of the people involved but I'm sure a lot of people were hurt that night.

He was chiding me because I didn't go into enough detail for a casual reader to know what I was talking about. He meant "another happy ending" in that I supplied the necessary information. He really wasn't being insensitive.*

*However, I tend to doubt that anyone on the board didn't know what I was posting about.
