Anyone else own a Wii and any of the virtual console games? Any suggestions on fun games to buy on there?

I currently have Super Mario 1,2,3 and Punchout, F-Zero, Mario Kart 64, Wave Race 64 and Metroid.

Also, anyone remember what the wrestling game was called on the original Nintendo? I can't think of the name.

If you like cornhole, Target Toss Pro is a fairly good party game. It's almost an exact copy of Bags, the same game they put in bars. (makers of Golden Tee, Silver Strike Bowling, Bags: Target Toss Pro)

I hacked my parents Wii and put 2 or 3 VC/WiiGames on there but never played any of them more than a minute or two.

My dad always played the games with me growing up. Our favorite game for a long time was Toejam and Earl on the Genesis. It was great and hilarious and always fun. Plus with the randomization of how the levels were created and where the elevators would show up gave it unlimited replayability.

So, the first Virtual Console game I got for the Wii was Toejam and Earl. Going to have to get my dad to play it with me one day.

Yes, I need to add Tecmo Bowl. Bo Jackson is a beast on that game.

I also want to add Bases Loaded, Blades of Steel, Excitebike, Castlevania, Ghouls and Goblins, Super Dodgeball and some others. There are so many games available on there and I haven't heard of many of them. There is a WiiWare game called World of Goo that is getting high marks. It is editor's choice with a 9.5 rating on Gamespot so i might have to add it too.

You can't beat adding classics to the Wii for only 5 to 15 bucks.

I've heard of that game but can't remember playing it. I'll have to check that one out. Nintendo must be making a ton of money off their Wii points.

World of Goo is a cool game, but I'd go insane trying to play it with the crappy Wii-mote sensativity. I went through the whole game over a week or two on the PC. Mouse made it much more fun and much less frustrating.

The only thing that drives me crazy about A Link To The Past is the music that is constantly repeated...... I can't stand it when I'm unable to turn off in-game music!

I like to turn down the tv volume and crank up some Danzig when I play Zelda:)

legend of zelda would be a good one - NES regular or link to the past. Super metroid is a good buy too. Alot of people consider it the best game of the SNES era
