Its not like there getting promoted. Tennessee is way better then Washington and the fact that there going for the same position makes me think what is really going on behind close doors?

In what world is that true right now?

Pretty much speaks for itself to me.

They are jumping off of a sinking ship.

perhaps they don't see CDD has the long-term answer at UT.

THEY'RE taking a better job. Washington is better THAN Tennessee right now. No doubt about it.

1) Leaving a sinking ship

2) Back to the west coast.

Other than those reasons, I got nothing.

They are jumping off the sinking ship.......Dooley is a loser and worse than that the guy in very unlikeable. Players trying to leave, signees changing their minds and coaches making backward moves to get away from this guy. FIRE DOOLEY NOW HART!

Not only could Washington wipe the floor with us, almost anybody else in the PAC12 could, too. That would have been a joke of a statement at any time before now. I'm a little surprised that JW couldn't scare up a HC position somewhere, but the fact that he would make a lateral move speaks louder than words.

And at Washington they will be able to sell what they do, and there's a competent coach already there.

Better for the resume also. You can field a better defense if they aren't on the field all the time because of complete incompetence on the offensive side of the ball.

It's way cooler in Seattle, in more ways than one.

Like someone stated above, they are west coast boys and this is a sinking ship. Actually, now I think the ship is at the bottom of the sea.

Have you watched UT lately? Washington? They have a good coach. UT does not. I love UT. But the truth is the truth.

Personally i think these:

1) it's where they are from and closer to family

2) Wilcox hasn't proven anything and his stock is falling as a D coordinator

Think about it!

USCe had a QB that couldn't throw, but we played the pass all game and lost.
Arkansas had almost no running game and we played the run all game and lost.
Rainey was basically UF's main weapon and was able to go HAM against us, we lost.
Vandy almost beat us.
UK scored 10pts against us after barely scoring 14 pts against and beating WKU.

We never really pressured opponents QBs and played D as if we were scared a lot.
Wilcox blamed Chuck Smith the first year. Who was he gonna blame now? LT, TJ?

Boise St.'s D didn't fall off ANY after he left. A sure sign that IT WASN'T HIM!

Jumped the shark. Sirmon was landing recruits right and left, and UT was ranked 28th in total defense for the year. Both are stars on the rise.

Memo to Hart....don't hire west coast coaches.

Not a sinking ship...the program has a solid head coach...now, make the right staff hires. These guys are using UT as a stepping stone...there is no loyality or pride in these guys for the Vols. They are here until the they get the call they are looking for....moving closer to home in this case.
