Feel free to read everything in that thread carefully Jewbaccah. What are you some kind of internet hero? Congrats on using the search function. If you read that entire thread including my following posts, with any semblance of reading comprehension, you would have an argument to back your pointless quoting. Obviously you didn't put that much work into it. Never have I said, hey, let's make TT our head coach! So, go ahead and quote random lines from my posts without actually providing any supporting evidence for the stupid that comes out of your head and spills onto these forums.

To vol_freak. What "antics" are you referring to? I'm still looking for something more substantial than chest bumps and backwards hats (watch the game this week, there IS the old white guy that wears his hat backwards every game). Like I said before, all I've seen on these forums up to this point is a bunch of idiotic quips about chest bumps. From the opposing point of view, I've seen people constantly mention the work he did with the receivers and backs and his sideline presence. If there's more about TT people felt wasn't good for UT then I haven't seen it supported here.

I can only speak for myself here, but everyone I've seen who bashes a TT post takes it to extremes. Simply because I state I felt TT was good at the job he did here at UT, doesn't mean I think he's "the only young, good position coach, that could be a half way good OC, that can recruit, and can also get someone excited..."

Not to point you out Business, yours was just the most recent post to say the very thing that I don't understand. I liked TT, felt he was good here at UT. I never said we can't find someone just like him.

I liked him as a position coach but soured when he tried to use players to lobby for the OC position he was unqualified for. Then he left for an "OC position" and has called zero plays since leaving. Sounds like no one really thinks he's ready

Just because some of us like TT, it doesn't mean we are ready to annoint him has HC, or even OC. He did well as a RB and WR coach here. Every position he coached here showed marked improvement over previous years. Who is to say that he wouldn't be successful as an OC. How do the people saying "he isn't ready" know that? Sounds like an agenda to me. Who cares if he chest bumps and slings towels around? That has nothing to do with anything.

I don't hate Trooper or anything, but it doesn't mean I shouldn't laugh when people discuss bringing him back to be an OC.

I guess we would rather have the mortuary sideline.TT probably 5 yrs from maybe being Div 1 HC but he was a hell of a position coach and recruiter.People may not like the chest bump but i will take it over the silly hand claps and grabbing my cap at least the old ball coach threw his on the ground when he was pissed off. Watch the Sabans,Meyers.Miles Carroll sidelines they are excited about what they are doing.We don't need a cheerleader but please show some positive emotion

Everyone will witness tomorrow night at 7PM in Neyland that UT Football is back. Yes, friends I know it is a little too late in the season to be turning anything around but with Nick Stephens named as the starter, I feel more confidence about this and I think Stephens will perform well and finally get the credit he deserves. He has accuracy, a little bit of mobility, and great throws on the run. I think there will be a new sense of air spread among this team tomorrow night and even carry along to the UGA game, yes Down goes UGA again and dawg fans can get over theirselves.

I know he's not the only one but there was a time a few months ago when whatever Hat said was the gospel for many on this board. It just seemed to really take the snowball affect once Hat revealed his feelings for Trooper. Hat, don't take my post the wrong way, I wish I had that kind of influence on here. Just an observation and maybe I overstated my point in my original post about it.
