Montana is a top tier program in the FCS. They have the ability to shut down any program in the country, on their level. Robin Pflugrad is one of, if not, the best defensive coordinators on the FCS level. At times the Grizzlies will have a defensive breakdown due to a lack of pass rush going against a top tier offensive line. That means their secondary is vulnerable. The Grizzlies will face the best offensive line in their careers on September 3rd.

The great defense of Montana (FCS level) will not be able to set the tone early against UT. There is no reason to believe the Grizzlies will have a dominant pass rush against UT. If they do, I hope someone becomes wealthy off a predicted Montana win. The only way for the Grizzlies to pull this one out is to dominate our offensive line and receivers (two of the strengths of UT), which is more than likely not going to happen. If UT plays to the level of competency and focuses throughout, this should be a chance to watch the questionable newcomers and youngsters at the beginning of the 4th quarter.

I wouldn't be so cocky in a UT win. UT is not what they used to be and Montana has experience on their side. Not saying their experience will overcome our talent, but our talent isn't top notch or anything. Just prepare for the unexpected in this matchup, because if Montana plays the game of their lives, they are capable of beating UT. I just don't think that will happen.

I sort of agree with you. Montana would have to play the game of their lives AND Tennessee would have to play their worst game in recent memory. I don't think it'll be a close game at all.

How Tennessee wins: by rolling out of bed on the 3rd.

There, I saved everyone the time of reading that.

Fair. UT would have to have a bad day. I don't predict they will, but who knows?
