Why no Hail Mary?

Like most good plays in the play book we've run the hail mary once this year and it worked , so we ripped it out of the play book, tore it up and tossed it into the can.

Except he's never hit one 50+ and was only 6-20 prior to that attempt on kicks of 40+

small sample size..all you have to ask is, "does he have the range?"..once you answer that with a yes..and clearly yes is the right answer it is a no brainer. hail mary is prob low to mid single digits percentage wise.
