I noticed this year in the O&W game he was no longer #4, but had switched to #15 but I didn't know why. From utsports.com's jersey # countdown, here's his reasoning:

"I switched to the number 15 this season so I could honor my brother who turned 15 years old this year. I am also striving to run for 1,500 yards this season."

Not sure about how that last part will turn out, but pretty cool that he changed his # to honor his brother.

I really hope he'll have the chance to show more productivity this year. 1,500 yards is a very lofty goal, so good luck to him.

15 days..... :peace2: :bammer: :corso:

Shows how much he loves his fam. I hope he can make 1,500. He does that we will be in contention to win the East.

If we run for a combined team 1500 yards (125 game average) it will mean we will win a lot of games and compete in the big games with a good shot at winning. Well, with good defensive play for that matter...........

My guess is that he likes #15, but can't say "now that the number was freed because Janzen was stupid"

i bought a #4 jersey last year to honor Lane, I guess now i'll wear it because that's the number of games I expect us to lose this year.

This stinks. I've got a #4 Jersey from the alumn store at the mall two years ago. There's no name on it so I keep using it. So far it's been Gerald Jones and most recently Lane. Who's #4 now?

He better worry about being in the starting rotation first. According to Chaney, Neal and DY are ahead of Lane right now

Team Stats (TEAM) rushing 2011 season:

1081 yards rushing *as a TEAM!!!!!
2.8 yards per carry with a long rush of only 40 or 45 yards.

Some games were HORRID and I believe resulted in negative rushing yards, negative!!!!!

Anything would be an improvement one would hope!!!!
