When people use CPF record are they not stating facts?
Sure they are. However, simply yammering on incessantly about winning percentage fails to take into account the precipitous decline the program is in the midst of suffering.

Bringing up CPF at this point will only hurt your cause Beef. Any momentum that the UT program had from the success in the 90's is slowly dying in a power vacuum created by the buzz surounding other SEC programs. The attention generated by this hire will only make the Knoxville power brokers envious.

It doesn't depend on the coach. You're going to tell me that right now, UT isn't about sixth in the SEC in terms of the enthusiasm and energy about the program? If someone wants to show me how a win over Vanderbilt in 1994 has any relevance to the state of the program today, I'd be glad to listen.

The media is pinning the Brees decision soley on the shoulders of Saban these days. I would say that his NFL book has seen its final chapter now.

Far as I know, Saban's deal was he had complete control of the Miami situation. Brees was his call. Miami ended the season with Cleo Lemon as starting quarterback. I know he will be awesome at bammer, not arguing that, but to build some defense for what he did at Miami is kind of stretching things.
