Why isn't everyone a Democrat?

Did I say every dollar is used correctly or there are no corrupt churches? No I did not. What is your point for favoring the taxation of them? It is because the government utilizes money so well?

Also, check on where some people end up sleeping after a tornado rips through their town. Might be a church gym and they don't require you are a member there.

But I guess you think charities should be taxed as well. Government, government, government!

Please point me to where I said I favored the taxation of churches.

I'm like most, I agree with taxing churches who support political agendas.

I'd just consider them a corrupt church and let it slide. Too fine a hair to part. I am confident there are charitable organizations that use money inappropriately.

If hard work equalled success and wealth, then I would buy into that. Unfortunately that is not the case. How do people actually buy into this crap?

do you mean how to people buy into the absolutelyabsurd notion that hard work should all be rewarded equally. I'm with you, that's one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. You must have brought that absurdity from Britain.

take a look at your avatar. Do you think Bruce got to where he is by being an apathetic sloth waiting for the government to provide for him?

but wouldn't it be sweet if Bruce's profession were changed to mirror Cibai's worldview?

Then all teams could work really hard and end up with a bunch of ties. The tying culture would reduce fan support, reduce pressure on coaches and would completely change sports. Who cares who wins? It's about equality of inputs and outcomes.

Of course, Bruce would have to take an enormous pay cut because he would be little more than a school teacher with a 6 month gig.

Sign me up.

So forgive me if I am wrong, but it appears to me the message of the dems is tax those who have plenty and have the government provide a lifestyle to those who have little. Sort of a weird Robin Hood thing which would be somewhat fine if that didn't remove all incentive to better yourself.
While the repubs think that tax breaks for those with plenty will get them expanding on whatever made them wealthy, increase the workforce and the overall standard of living.
Is this too far from fact? Is this an accurate interpretation of the theories of both parties?
