The rest of the CFB are starting realize what we've known for a while. Heup is the real deal and he ain't going back to Norman. That bridge has been burned. I would be pissed to no end if I was a Sooner fan. Stoops sacrifised Heup to save his brothers job. I speak for all of Volnation when I say Thank You Bob.

After shutting down a talented LSU squad, the truth is setting in around the SEC.
NO ONE wants to play us.
BAMA fans are not in my face about the game for the first time since Saban's second season.
One of my best friends is a Bammer and he just told me that he thinks we blow them out. I thought he was joking at first but he was dead serious. I told him that ain't gonna happen and he just shook his head and said Heup is gonna be the next Dabo.

And for all these reasons we must pay him and his staff more and protect them so they continue to build Rocky Top back to a true national power for the next decade! Pay this man and this staff now pls!!!

Let’s see how the rest of the season plays out before the checkbook comes out. Also, not every coach on this staff deserves a raise.

So we are 5-0 and rank 6th mid way thru his 2nd year using Pruitts recruits and the portal yet you feel he still needs to do more to prove he’s the one?? I pray those with the checkbook feel otherwise because if we lose this coach and staff we will likely fall right back into desert we have walked for at least 15 years.

You obviously misconstrued what I said. Every coach on this staff has done enough to warrant a raise except 2. Martinez and Banks. If we go 10-2 during the regular season and win our bowl game, then Heupel and the majority of his staff will have earned a raise. But we still have MAJOR ISSUES on defense.

I’m not here to tell anyone to slow their roll but man, this place will be mighty entertaining if they curb stomp us.

But I think it will be a close, hard fought game
Says the man who told us Pitt and Florida and LSU were going to beat us and that Heupel was not as good a coach as Kelly. Now it’s “slow your roll, we may lose to Bama” 😂😂😂

I’m not sure why some are worried that CJH is leaving. Coach started the season making $4,000,000 a year and just received a 25% raise.
He’s winning, he’s winning the ones that matter, has administration support, his boss has hired him twice, has great fan support, boosters are happy, recruits are paying attention, heck, College Game Day will be on campus for the second time this season, our rivals are nervous, the stadium is sold out for the entire season, he seems to be enjoying himself. If a school comes courting CJH, Tennessee will protect their interest.
Enjoy the ride, we may have started our assent. Stop analyzing everything that could go wrong. As another poster said somewhere, what if everything goes right.
Some of y’all can’t be happy, because you’re always miserable. GBO!

There will come a day when Dabo looks up to Josh Heupel and wishes he had that good a career.

Heupel is going to reach heights with the Volunteers not scaled since General Robert Neyland roamed the sidelines.

Folks trying to compare Heupel to Spurrier or Swinney or Bowden or anyone else don't realize it, but they're not complimenting him; they're selling him short.

They'll see, eventually. As the video linked in the OP of this thread hinted, the football covering media sucks at seeing the future approaching.

Go Vols!

I like your narrative. I think Coach Heupel wins some big games here. We will have made it when we are favored vs. UGA and/or BAMA. That could be in the near future.

One of my good Bama fans said that if Bama plays anything like they did against A&M then Bama will get beat. Coming from him, that is saying a lot. He is about as die hard a Bama fan there is.
