Why is the CPF situation so complicated?

I have some questions I wonder if someone would be so kind as to answer...
1. Is there a loophole in whatever contract extension he signed?

2. Someone will probably say it doesn't matter, because he's not going anywhere, right? But what about the AD? I mean, he's got a boss, too. So who is ultimately responsible for the program? Are we to believe that NO ONE on this staff cares about the downward spiral that is happening?

3. I understand that CPF would get millions if he cut a deal to "retire" or whatever...so how much does he get to stay? Why would he stay and do (in my opinion) a poor job and be hated by most..or all? Why not take the millions and go?

4. Are there other potential coaches the the top dogs are looking at that could bring this program back to greatness? Surely they are not thinking CPF is the best we can do?!?

1. I dont know but the extension and raise just makes a buyout more expensive.

2. cant really answer this one. I am sure people care but IMO the staff just doesnt see it being as bad as it is.

3. Its been said on here before CPF is after the all time win record.

4. I am sure there are better coaches that we could get. It does seem however that the AD doesnt want to go get them.

It's complicated because the big donors who can buy out Fulmer's contract don't talk to the media.

Sorry for sounding stupid, but what does the media have to do with anything? You don't have to watch the news to see the situation is bad. The media only reports what they want to, anyway..
