Why is Hooker…

Maybe I have you confused with someone else who goes negative all the time? My apologies if that's the case. It is sometimes hard to keep people straight... and especially with my aging memory.
I'm there with you on the aging memory. Don't forget, you can always blame your wife, too. Geezers Rule! Go Vols!

No. I'm saying that Hooker has made a number of high throws this year which puts WR's at risk. That's what I'm saying. Go back and watch. This isn't the first time a WR has jumped trying to catch a ball from him and particularly early in games.

And yes. If a defender pushes a blocker into the QB then that blocker shares the blame... and maybe most of it.

You made me think of an even better example though. If a LT whiffs and the QB gets crushed and fumbles... who is to "blame"?

I think we may be arriving at a similar conclusion. At the end of the day eleven players have to do their job correctly for the offense to function.

And I won’t argue that there is something screwy with Hooker’s mechanics this year. I just don’t think we can say for sure whether that played a role in the play in question.

Because it is legitimate. He's been off target high much too often this year. His high pass exposed Tillman to that hit. It wasn't necessary.

I'm not blaming him as in condemning him. It wasn't anything intentional or even reckless. But his high passing led to that injury. I'm actually surprised it didn't happen sooner.

He needs to get it under control.
It appears you really are a freak as well as a troll.

Receiving most of the blame for Tillman’s injury?

As I recall, football is a contact sport where injuries can happen at any moment.

You think Tillman is holding a grudge against Hooker right now? I highly doubt it.

Just seems so stupid to me that some fans are actually blaming Hooker considering he was trying to make a play for his team.
I would call anyone who is blaming Hooker for Tillman's is not a VOL fan at all. Trolls have a way of lying about

Did you seriously watch the play he was injured on? Pretty ordinary throw, but Tillman had to leave his feet, upon which the Akron player undercut his legs causing the injury. Hooker has been throwing high on multiple occasions.
