We've always played well against them even though they have been vastly better then us for most of those games..... If we can upset anyone I could see it being LSU
W Tennessee(5-6) vs LSU (11-2)30-27 2005
L Tennessee (9-4)@ LSU(11-2) 21-24 2006
L Tennessee(10-4)vs LSU (SECcg)(12-2)(BCS Champs) 21-14 2007
L Tennessee(6-7) @ LSU(11-2) 16-14 2010

Like I've said, we've been worse but we've def. competed and have been in position to win these games at the end....

I totally agree.I think we have a real good shot.As long as good ole Les is coaching them i think we'll always have a shot.

Has to do with talent. LSU's defense has a chance to be ranked #1 in all categories.

If its anything like last year there defense won't matter, we'll be able to put 2 tds on the board against every team we play this year, we just have to be effective

I would not bet on any game with Les Miles coaching, weird things tend to happen. Maybe Smokey can flavor up some nice grass for him to eat before the game.

Well the experts are thinking that they took us lightly or overlooked us last year, and they are banking that it won't happen again, imo.

If UT's offense finds itself in 3rd and 2, just take a couple of Delay of Game penalties to get it to 3rd and 12. Chavis will have the corners playing about 17 yards off the LOS. It's as close to 100% for converting this as you will get. 3rd and 2 is a different story.

"Everybody" is not writing us out of that game; we have a very good shot at 'em in Knoxville.

Yes, they have had multiple good recruiting yrs, but their D lost Patrick Peterson, Kelvin Sheppard and Drake Nevis ... not just some random seniors, but some exceptional talents. Peterson was an EB kind of player and Sheppard better than any LB we've had in a while.

After last year, LSU Nation is wary of us.

Are you serious? John Chavis is one of the most proven and respected DC in the country. Unbelievable.

John Chavis is one of the worst if not the worst 3rd down coordinator on 5+ yard situations in the nation. Easily.

The LSU game is never written off in my book, I've always thought of them as one of the most overrated teams in College Football.

Now they are in our house, they won't be able to cheat their way out of it this year.

They may be overrated, but bottom line is LSU nearly always finds a way to pull out a W.. and thats what matters.
