The way that Pruitt handled the media last night was atrocious. You just lost, and handled your QBs in the most baffling manner. And when the media, whose job it is to find out answers and report, ask you questions, you get offended and answer condescendingly and arrogantly.

If you cannot humble yourself enough to treat people who are doing their job with respect, then you cannot be the Head Coach at a high profile school like Tennessee.

Pruitt has proven in many ways that he is in over his head. But now, it is obvious that his disdain and arrogance and pride is going to sink him here.

I absolutely hate the fact that he has a buyout and that we are going to have to pay to get rid of his horrible attitude and incompetence.

Check my post history, I wanted him to be successful here. But it is obvious to me that he isnt even willing to look inside himself at his own mistakes. And therefore, he is not going to turn this program around.

Agree with you. I have been trying to make myself believe its the circumstances but can't use that excuse anymore. He probably has one more chance to fire assistants to save his butt this season, then he is on his on after that.

He wont have to fire them. They'll leave. Itll be like when Wilcox left Dooley bc he saw what was coming.

No matter what UT'S football future holds, I hope his departure comes sooner than later.

If he is at the helm next year, I won't pay $65 a month for YouTube tv to watch. I dont watch things when I already know the ending. I give too much of life to football to watch us be coached by a guy who thinks he is something when he is not.

Wilcox left because we wouldn’t offer him money to make him say no to other jobs offering him. Had he stayed in Dooley’s 3rd year, we likely win 9-10 games minimum. The downfall of Dooley was letting Wilcox leave.

Two days ago I considered making a thread defending Pruitt saying that we might be screwed by the transfer rule and all of the players might leave with him.

Today? Dont care. Clean house. They can all transfer. Start from scratch. If they dont wanna win, fine. But I'm tired of not winning.

If the NCAA approves a 1-time transfer rule, I don't think it will matter much in the end.

You're right. Get a competent coach, and itll help you more than it hurts you.

Yep. Guys could sign early in December, and jump ship at the end of spring. That's with the assumption that there will be some kind of transfer window that a player has to transfer by a certain date to play in the same season.

Could also work in a new coaches favor, as a signee or prospective signee might be more likely to stay committed and try out the new coach possibly, if there is an avenue to leave if they don't see themselves playing for that coach.

I agree with you, but I will say most reports are jerks...
