You could post a picture of a football and show it to everyone on this board. Half would say it's a nice football, a quarter would say that it's not really a football at all, an eighth would say it looks like the exact same football (previous head coach) had in his office so it should have never been posted and that (new head coach's) football is ten times better and the rest would ask for a link to the original picture.

Credit for this goes to Tennessee T from 2010.

I thought half would say we could have bought a better football with a higher NIL offer but we won’t overpay.

Most all would probably agree though that the football looks alot better winning 11 and 8-9 games the last two years as opposed to a decade + of limping into the Birmingham Bowl or not being bowl eligible and lying to ourselves w/ orange tinted off-season glasses on how we're going to be upper tier SEC next year. Although the dumpster fire off season rants of bad looking footballs was always interesting.

Dont mind a spirited debate with anyone about whatever related to the big orange. Just don't understand the bashing of each other for differences of opinion. Dionne Warwick sang a song called Walk On By. Of course at 63, probably mellowed a bit.

In the sprit of what the OP said, even when we all disagree I appreciate VN as a community. Coming on here and talking ball has helped me through some tough times (and not just UT losses)… good way to get together with people who share the same passion.
Now the recruiting forum… that’s a different animal
