Why have we regressed every game, since the NC state game?

We were doing fine until we got smacked in the mouth in the 2nd half of the UF game, which exposed how mentally weak and devoid of leadership we are from the top down. It's been a painful slide since then.

There's certainly a mental toughness this team is missing. As soon as the 1st real bit of adversity hit in the UF game, the team quit.

Fast forward to the Bama game where the team didn't even bother to show up. That's what I was referring to. But you're correct about the UF game.

Schedule got harder. Florida was much better than everyone thought. Losing B Randolph hurt. Lathers,Maggit, Downs ,Bynum injuries. Da'Rick would have many catches by now, regardless. Cam Clear was an All-Sec player. Teague can't cover. We have unproven secondary coaches. Brewer can't cover. Gordon makes plays, then busts on simple assignments. Hunter drops lower team confidence. B Moore started trying to get picks and stopped tackling. J Smith not playing up to potential. Neal got hurt. CP still needs work, but is excellent. Tyler is trying to win the super bowl on every play. Lane is getting better. O Line has gotten better. No consistency in the kicking game. missed pat's, short punts, blocked punt, missed fg's. Played too many ranked teams in a row. Missed out on too many big name players in recruiting,especially at RB and DB.Some of the Sr's and JR's on the team were recruited by Fulmer and Kiffen.Others left.Entire fornt 3/4 is from juco system. Everyone knew the 3-4 switch was bad timing and would take a year.4-3 would look much better with an above avg DC. Too many pass plays on 3rd or 4th and very short. A few(3?) too many beast runs on 3rd or 4th and short

This. Plus dd doesn't have them motivated. No way we beat bama. But the other games we had a chance to win if we execute better. So close but so far away. Now the team doesn't seem to care.

Coaches, mental, coaching up, play calling, coaches, conditioning, coaches, injuries, coaches. Frankenstorm heading to Philly has nothing on this perfect storm.

Because we don't have nine months to prepare for our opponents and there is actually film to study on our ****ty defense now.

i do know the recievers have dropped some huge, game changing balls.
CP v florida that was a td
CP v georgia that was a td
JH against alabama before the half
all huge drops
did rogers even play against bama?

and (supposedly) CP doesnt know how to run routes.

i just know bray seemed better with cdh coaching qbs

Actually our running game has improved. Basically, I think the ACC is just a weak conference.

NC just doesn't have the level of players we see every week.. They had a shot at a couple of these games. Probably had a shot at 3 out of 4.. This team just doesn't know how to win, and makes crucial mistakes at the wrong time.. They play as if they're aware of Dooley's record against good teams.. The mentality needs changing. They could use some players on defense.. They could also use less turnovers...

Coaching is a problem but what about the players? No accountability on them. I'm talking about the offense of course. Our defense? Good gosh we suck. No execution is why were 0-4 in SEC play. We should be 3-1 with execution. TB has been in this same offense for 3 yrs now. No excuse for his BS plays he makes. It's on him offensively. He needs to grow up. He and the WR's have killed so many drives this year it's no wonder were 3-4.

My case would be no way MSU plays with Florida State and NC State whooped them. Florida State would walk into Starkville and beat MSU like a drum. I think NC State most likely beat MSU as well.

Discourage opposite of encourage. DD could be a great coach in the big east acc or even west coast , but the SEC is just to tough on Lil ole dools. It takes balls to even consider the SEC! Dools got his crushed, everybody sees it, that's why we can't capitalize .

Injuries!! You can't have front line players like Maggit hobbling and expect to win. There hurt and hate the trash they here about their football team while they can't do anything about it! We are not a pro team that can call up an all pro working for UPS to fill in the gaps. We are just a university trying win games. Don't be so hard on the team! Get behind them is your best chance to win. :whistling:
