Well, we could go through 4 coaches who can't get it done either like they did... Don't get me wrong, I'm ready for him to go to, just the unknowns when you go through this can be daunting

If you hire the wrong guy at first, you just gid rid of him and try again. (Cf: Florida and Ron Zook.) The next guy will be 100 times easier to get rid of than Fulmer if he doesn't work out.

There's a definite possibility that we'll have to wander in the wilderness for awhile before we find the right guy. But most of us would argue that we're already there right now -- if it ends up getting worse for awhile before it gets better, then so be it. It's like a guy who's contemplating murdering his wife and deciding, "I don't want to spend 10 years in jail. It's not worth it"....and then ten years later, she's still there and he's thinking "Dammit, dammit, I could be free by now!"
