For me, I think it's just a intense rivalry, but some people interpret this as "hate". That's fine. But they are pretty gay for real, that's why we call them gators.

I hate the Gators because they have a Zebra for a center on their bball team... yep thats about it i hate the the bball program at florida, the baseball, football and everything else at florida all because they have a zebra for a center...
