In your OPINION, why have all these coaches turned down the TN football program in the last few hires...

Do they know something about the "powers that be" that we don't??? LWS has already said they don't care about winning..

Yes, I'm assuming that all the coaches have REALLY turned the job down. If I was running a business aka TN football, I'm not going to tell you I didn't look for the best coach, so you will by tickets, and concessions...

Opinions are never wrong.

Reputation that we do not have a fully supportive administration that is dedicated to winning at the highest levels.
Also, a meddling high money donor base that doesn’t want somebody as Coach that insists on total control.

And, not enough free lifetime passes to Dollywood.

Boosters don't give any control to the coach.

As much as fans talk about one of the most winning traditions the reality is it's been almost 20 years since we were relevant.

Fans attacking the coaches with anything that really has nothing to do with coaching ability. This fanbase makes the Philadelphia Eagles and NY Giants fans look like angels at times.

At least the second part of your reason is true at most big schools if not almost all.

And I also don’t think Haslam is near as involved or pushy as most of you let on. Nowhere near the realm of a T Boone Pickens or Jerry Jones.

I think so many turned us down last time because the roster was a mess and the SEC was historically tough. That isn't the case any more. I think we can and will get a much better coach this time around.

Alabama, Florida, Georgia...now that we nave talent it's more appealing.

Get ready to be humiliated again if another search is initiated as coach after coach turns us down.

We landed the top target when we landed Kiffin. Then the situation became very unstable when he bolted. Dooley wrecked the talent. We were much less attractive and much more unstable in the athletic dept and football team situation itself in the last two hires. Other than that UT has always gotten it's top target for the job, stretching all the way back to Neyland.

They turn us down because our fanbase is mean.
If we could all learn to be nice and always supportive like the fans in Alabama, Florida, New York, and Philadelphia, we would be able to hire anyone our hearts desired.

I'll use the analogy of building the space shuttle with the lowest bid price to do so!

Exactly, Butch got us out of the hole that Kiffin and Dooley left us in. This program is ready for a coach to come in and win now. No more rebuilding for several years
