Why did we stop using Blaine Brown as a pitcher?

Get it. Has none of those that I remember.
4 APP and 3.0 IP is too small of a sample size to mean much at all. The fact that's all the chances he got says everything, though.
Hoping for a big turnaround but feel he will be better off if he goes to being a one way player. 2 way is just too hard at that level for the vast majority of players.
Good power for being so thin. Flashed some signs. Good to be left handed.
Improved in LF as season went along.
Way way way too many bad at bats. Like some days he came to work; sometimes phoning it in.
Just ran out of gas toward the end. Like a common freshman problem with longer season. However, he wasn't a freshman so who knows?
Thinking muscle and mass will help. And he has pretty of frame to carry it without a problem. Hope he comes back 20-30 pounds heavier.

Burke looked awful during the SEC season. Brown was hot & cold. I believe Brown has the potential to make an enormous jump. I don't see him hitting .370+ like Burke, but if he could develop some plate discipline and quit chasing so many bad pitches out of the zone, he could make a massive jump in power numbers. His upside is as high as anyone on the team IMO.
