...vs. Ohio State.

Sorry for being late to the party, but why?

Never saw an explanation.

Most surprised I've been in years to see him standing on the sidelines for 3+ quarters. SEC POY.

He injured his hamstring against Vanderbilt at the end of the game and aggravated it against in warm up’s in the cold to try and go. Literally all of our skill positions sat out from our soft WRS to our weak ass QB at UCLA.
Nico didn’t sit. He ran the ball a lot, took a lot if hits, and played tough. I can’t stand what he did in spring, but I can separate the way he played against Ohio State from that situation.

Nico played awful against ohio state. Go back and watch. WRs running open, but Nico keeps running head down, not keeping his eyes up the field, and slams into the first 3 Osu lineman He sees. I don’t get all the praise for Osu game, a good qb would’ve started hitting those rollouts and making the defense play honest.

I didn’t say he played well. The conversation was guys being soft and sitting.

He played terribly. But he wasn’t soft. He was actually very tough.

Yep Nico actually played hard against Ohio State right to the end. Had his helmet cracked and took some hard hits. I think he scored our only two touchdowns.

He did. But that's the only game against legit competition I recall him playing that way
It's my humble opinion he was auditioning for the transfer portal.

If that's the case he would have transferred right after the season and had a chance to play somewhere worth a damn. Instead he tried to leverage us.

Nico sat out by trying to renegotiate his contract before the game alienating the team in favor of his selfish mindset. I watched the game. He played by himself. Our team gave up before we took the field. He was a major part of that.

Our team didn’t give up before they took the field. They had a clutch sack taken away on an unfortunate face mask and then shortly after that they gave up. They got beat by a better team on the road in some gross weather. Almost time for kick off.

Wow. You actually made up a new definition of “sat out” because the actual one didn’t fit your argument. 😂

Nico played tough. Little did we know he was auditioning for other schools to offer him more money.

It's rumoured he reached out to several teams while trying to leverage us.. Tennessee saw all they needed to see and told him to pound sand.
I imagine CJH was glad to get rid of " the family"

There was no argument Nighthawk. It was statement. You can agree or disagree. I don’t give a ****! We laid down, and chemistry and effort on that day played a role along with playing a superior team. We were better than that, but we will never know. Time to turn the page and root for this year’s Vols! Definitely better days ahead. The future looks bright.

I was there at the game. Our WRs got no separation. Our line couldnt cover their front 4. Our backs and TE couldnt shake free of their LB and safety.

Your version of the game didnt happen in reality...

Nico didnt play well but that loss wasnt solely on him. We just got our ass whipped by a far more talented team...

And I’m not so sure the Carter family shouldn’t be next. Mama is running off at the mouth again.
