Why did Coach Drink say this to CJH?

"We stand on business, Josh."

It just means they did what they do. No hard feelings, just playing football.
Can't complain about that. It's exactly what Heupel has done the last 3 years vs Mizzou. It's up to us to stop them. If we can't, that's on us. If this team and staff don't like being embarrassed, do something about it.

Think you mean 2 years lol.

Yeah, Drink isn't worth bothering with. Mizzu had a good season. Good for them. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut from time to time. Hell, if Cornbread hadn't crapped the bed against BYU and GSU-he woulda had a 10; win season.

We better destroy those folks for like the next 5-6 years and I will just call the whole thing even.

A Drink of tepid water after....wasn't cool, but allowed in the sport of futbol. Those words probably come back to bite him in the future. However, we don't know the next time we will meet with two new additions next year.

Like Butch Jones, Elijah Drinkiwiz did not play college football. The difference between him and most coaches he told reporter on National TV "we kicked their A$$" Classy, way to represent your family.

We can be as upset as we want about it, but he coached a great game and his team whipped our butts. I’d say it was probably a jab at Heupel for hanging all those points on him the last two years. If you don’t wanna hear it, come ready to play and win the game. Otherwise don’t piss and moan when some half assed basketball school gets bragging rights for the year by beating you.

Pointless to draw conclusions without knowing what CJH said after scoring late in last years game

I've used headphones and listened several times. Can't make out a thing he said.
He said ‘WE STAND ON BUSINESS, JOHN”.

1st- who the he!! is John. Prolly said Josh, but just sounds like John to me.

2nd- what business is he talking about?

3rd- great win, but talking **** to a coach that has outscored you 135-84 over the last 3 years, and is 2-1 against you, is just dumb. Because next year Heupel gonna run the score up on him again if we have the chance.

Doubt we’ll play them for at least the next two years.

We don’t play them next year.

According to another article he said “We stand on business, Josh.” When I watched it live, CJH looked like he was sticking out his hand for a congratulatory handshake and there was no sign of anger at Missouri or the Coach. It was all one sided made up weirdness by Drinkwitz. I think he wanted it to be a big deal and about revenge while CJH was just disappointed in how we played. This was probably Drinkwitz biggest win ever. Heupel hasn't complained about the score in any subsequent interviews he just stressed the need to improve. Maybe Drinkwitz will mature but he has given some weird and creepy interviews since he got there. He also said he wanted his 12 year old daughter to date Brady Cook when she turns 18 which was beyond creepy. Weird dude!

His business needs to involve recruiting a little better.

Per 247 sports, Missouri's Class of 2024 is currently #45 in the country, and dead last in the SEC. They only have 14 commitments, and we are just a month away from the start of the early signing period. That low ranking is with a 5 star in-state commitment in Williams Nwaneri, who they only landed because of a fat NIL deal. They offered similar money to an in-state WR named Ryan Wingo, but he chose Texas.

The Class of 2024, 247 Sports National Football Team Rankings, Among SEC Schools :

#1 ......... Georgia
#4 ......... Alabama
#5 ......... Florida
#10 ...... Texas A&M
#12 ...... Tennessee
#14 ...... LSU
#16 ...... Auburn
#19 ...... South Carolina
#20 ...... Ole Miss
#21 ...... Kentucky
#23 ...... Arkansas
#38 ...... Vanderbilt
#43 ...... Mississippi State
#45 .... Missouri

And this is during a great season. ^^^^.

Missouri's success is not sustainable in the SEC, if this is how they are going to recruit high school players. They had a favorable schedule this season. Their only road games were/are :

Vanderbilt
Kentucky
Georgia
Arkansas

I really do wish that we could keep playing them every year.

This is the Non-Snowflake mindset. Nice post.

Eh, he's a clown. The same clown that talked about setting his underage daughter up to one of his players. I don't have a problem with his trash talking though. Losses like this need to sting and hurt your pride. If it doesn't sting, then it's a problem. Way too many guys laughing while getting their asses kicked.
