Why couldn't Tubs been available two months ago?...

If they didn't want him, why would they care if we got him.
And this is an irrelevant statement because we were not going to hire him.:hi:

At best, T'ville would have been a horizontal move for us. Unlikely that he would have moved us forward. I cannot see the boosters ever getting behind him as the next leader of the program.

Kiffin certainly wasn't at the top of my list, but the more I see of him, the more I like him. He strikes me as a strong leader, and that is much of what has been lacking on the sideline over the past five years.

Time will tell. But I'm excited to see what CLK can do.

:good!:

Tubbs struggled with the very same problems that Fulmer encountered. He could have a consistent phyisical defense, but counted on it way too heavily in big games. Especially in the last few years.

At the very most Tubbs would have been Fulmer version 2.0.
Fulmer "lite", so to speak :)
