are being more risky with at least the potential of greater rewards (JMO of course).

Exactly what I was going to post. Tubs is a safe hire and would likely do well, but not a significant upgrade over what we had. He can't even make his mind up on what offense he wants to run and then sell it to the coaches. I understand the kids not buying into it immediately, but the coaches NEVER did.

Lane Kiffin is the guy who has tremendous upside and could turn out to be a first rate head coach. The manner in which he has been going about things so far is very methodical and he obviously has something that he is convinced will work. He's sold me.

Pretty much what Fulmer did to Clawson this year.

Tubs would be huge improvement over that last... er, guy at the helm.

Tubb was awesome at Auburn. He was fired because a couple boosters didn't like him.

They were good every season but this season.

I guess that it is hard for most of you to wish the Vols had Tubs because that would be admitting that something was wrong with the current hire. My firm belief is that back in September and early October most of you would have been rattling the heck out of this board with posts/threads if Tubs was available then.

Its ok.... your secrets are safe with me.

I know exactly what he was saying. I like the post conversations with Papa and I was trying to get another one started. But the first one we had about common denominators was epic fail... nvm.

Not trying to bust your bubble, but what has Tubs done at Auburn that CPF hasn't done at UT? And don't call me a Fulmerite, that is a legit question.

I'm traveling and on my cell, or I would otherwise oblige. Too painul to thumb that much.

A great record against ranked teams and a great record against the best coaches in the league.
