I'm not a frequent poster, however I am a longtime reader. In this forum I have seen 6 threads alone on the "email scandal." Yet we have a man running for president that has threatened/condoned violence against another member of a major party. Now granted this discussion may be buried deep in another thread, but at what point does it stop? At what point do people stop making excuses for this madman, this demagogue? When do people get their head out of the sand and realize this election is much more than emails? When do people realize we are on the verge of electing a possible sociopath to the highest most respected office in the land.
I'll hop off my soapbox now and listen.

I'm amazed that people still make excuses for both of these sociopaths. Anyone who defends them should be ashamed. Anyone who voted for them in the primaries should be ashamed.

You should do some more reading. It's already been discussed

Why is the liberal media campaigning so hard to make it a big deal? It was a top story on the 6:30 news on ABC, CBS, and NBC last night. It was nothing.

Sadly I think you are correct, Hillary will be the next president.

Please explain why you feel that Trump condoning violence against another politician was nothing. At very least you should be asking "would a sane man make these comments?"

At worst, it was a failed attempt at a joke. Certainly not the biggest news of the day worthy... unless the media is campaigning for the Left rather than delivering actual news.

He not so subtlety hinted at Clinton being assasinated. Kind of a big deal when a presidential candidate does that.

A poor sequence of words, I doubt he was hinting that his friend needs to be assassinated. But if the SS hauled him in I wouldn't be outraged.

It was a fail.

Making a joke like that, as a presidential candidate, is news. I take issue with the entire quote. Nobody, now let me repeat, NOBODY has suggested repealing the 2nd Amendment. It was yet another lie from Donald to ignite the passions of his base.

Okay ask yourself, why would a sane, not crazy man deem it acceptable to attempt to joke about this...even though we all know he wasn't joking.

Trump says so many idiotic, bigoted, nonsensical things so often that it has become commonplace on the stump, consequently, we are becoming immune to his stupidity. He should really just bow out of the race before he embarrasses himself and the Republican Party any further.

I said "at worst" and made the point that the craziest aspect is the left slanted media working together to get another Clinton elected.
