Why all this talk about our Talent?

Everyone says Sanders sucks because he can't do anything with the talent we have at WR.

First of all, Our WR's aren't as talented as advertised.

Sanders doesn't drop passes.
Rick Clausen is not talented. He can't pass the ball further than 20 yards.

I think that all this talent talk is overrated.

There's a difference between talent and potential.

Our WR's are WAY OVERRATED!!!

Our offensive line is offensive and WAY OVERRATED!!!

Just because they were good in high school and look good against directional schools doesn't mean they're talented.

Don't believe all the hype.

Stop and think to yourself, "Are these guys really talented?"

And answer this by yourself. Don't let some preseason magazine tell you how good our players are.

Let their actions on the field decide it for you.

BTW, even if they were talented, Sanders would make them less talented just by being their coach.

worst offense ever to put on a tennessee uniform, no way they should be this much worse than last year. You have to blame play callin for that one and RS should lose his job.

It's called coaching. I'm sorry any other coach in the league would love to have our receivers. Pat Washington needs to go as does Stevens and of course Sanders. No flow to this offense at all. We haven't put up big numbers in awhile, even against mid-major teams. We used to put up 40, 50 points a game against much lesser foes, but now we score in the teens and twenties.

We also need a special teams coach. Goodness. They give up a Td and we kick every punt through the endzone whereas UGA has two downed at the one. I disliked Majors as much as anyone, but that is one area he was hardly ever beaten on was special teams.

Until the big money donors step in and refuse to donate their millions to this program we are going to have three loses a year to our biggest rivals. Or until we lose five games a year or word on the recruiting trail is that sending your son (if he plays on offense) will ruin his career. Once it hurts our recruitng then I think Fulmer will make some changes.

Our receivers are overrated, no question of it. Yes Clausen has trouble throwing the ball more then 20 yards downfield, but the fact we have 8 guys in the box cause everybody knows we cant do anything on offense except weak passes and running plays isnt helping them.

There are lots of coaches out there who have done more with less. Sanders and company freely admit this offense is 20 years old. Their arguement is it has worked in the past, so it should work now. The problem is the speed of the defense, you have to make them pay when they are out of position because they are so fast now your not going to get many opportunties our offense doesnt put anybody out of position and if by chance we do, we get a dropped ball or an overthrow.
