Who's Your NFL Team & Why?

Cowboys. It started with a bet back in 4th grade. One of my buddies was a Broncos fan and a real jerk so I bet him the Cowboys would beat the Broncos in the Super Bowl. Been a fan ever since.

I don't really have a team. I followed Peyton around then when he retired I pulled for the Chiefs because of Eric Berry. I'm a free agent right now.

Cowboys. My dad and brother were fans before I was born. So I followed suit when I was little and first started watching football.

Broncos and to a lesser extent, the Cowboys. Being from NM, my Dad's family is all Cowboys fans. I grew up not watching much NFL but rooting for the Cowboys. When Peyton got drafted to the Colts I started following him as closely as any team in any sport. Then I married a big Cowboys fan, so that brought them more prominently back into my life. I had been living in the Denver TV market (SLC) and watched most of their games for nearly a decade by the time Peyton went to the Broncos, so I officially adopted them as my #1.

I’ve been an Eagles fan since I was very young. They have had a number of players I enjoyed watching, such as Reggie White and Randal Cunningham. I always liked the Eagles uniforms (the old version is superior to the current uniform). The Eagles are also on tv quite often due to their division.

There have been other secondary teams I’ve liked due to specific players such as the Dolphins during the Marino years and Colts/Broncos while Peyton was there.

Chiefs. (Come back to the Chiefs Notorious B.E.N. There's never been a better time. Unless you want to be accused of band-wagoning.)

I didnt really watch NFL until Peyton was drafted. Then I pulled for the Colts. But when they started treating him wrong, I became a free agent. He ended up in Denver and I pulled for Manning-in-Denver, but never really Denver.

(I was in a wedding in 2007-ish that was Denver Broncos themed. The colors were navy and orange. The bride was a huge fan.)

At the same time I was following Berry in KC. He got the cancer and all then was come-back player of the year. That was pretty much what made me a fan. The story though isnt directly linear. There was some overlap with pulling for Manning-in-Denver and KC at the same time. Sue me.

Then when Manning retired I made a clean break. It was all KC. They had Berry along with some other VFLs - lineman Zach Fulton, QB Tyler Bray. And of course Dustin Colquitt who, Sunday, set a record for most games played as a Chief.

Then the Chiefs traded up to draft Mahomes. I'll admit I thought it was a mistake. I thought Smith was serviceable and we should work on our defense. I was wrong. Mahomes. Wow.

Redskins. Hung out a lot with my uncle a lot as a kid playing Tecmo Super Bowl. He was a Redskins fan (funny enough my dad is a Cowboys fan). The '91 Super Bowl is my first sports memory that I can recall. I got to stay up late to watch it.

I've tried abandoning them (just can't do it unlike the Benedict Arnold @vader ). I'll still pull for the Titans and have some Titans gear, but when it comes down to it they're #2 (I wore Skins gear to the Skins-Titans game last year).

Steelers. Was a kid back in the 70's and Pittsburgh was the best team back then by a wide margin.

I was a kid back in the 70’s too. Seems like most people in Knoxville back then were either Cowboy, Steeler or Falcon fans.

I generally pull for the Titans, although it's not a good franchise, and I thought Bud Adams was more or less a piece of sh!t.

Falcons in my early years then Titans when they moved to Tennessee I tried both for a while since they are in separate conferences but lately its just Titans.

Started rooting for teams with Vols alumni. Colts and Broncos because of Manning and now the Saints because of Kamara. I gave up on the Redskins which I followed since I was a kid during the Jim Zorn Head coaching debacle.

Seahawks since 1976, just because. It took a long time and a lot of roller coaster years but we finally got our trophy. I use to mess with my buddies and say " one day we'll win the Superbowl and then everyone will be Seahawks fans" hahaha.

Packers and to a certain extent, the Titans.

When I was younger my old man bought me a Favre jersey and I’ve just always liked them ever since.

Titans simply because they’re the home team
